Decentralized cloud gaming and rendering network Portalverse Network has announced the closure of a multi-million-dollar seed round, according to its founders.
The investment which came from global crypto funds and organizations, including Big Brain Capital and Cogitent Ventures, Octopus Venture Dao, 2Moon Capital, has brought the startup’s total valuation to $45 million, the startup said.
Portalverse has also received technical and ecosystem support from new strategic partners in the Near Ecosystem including Octopus Network and Fusotao Protocol.
The startup’s goal is to redefine the cloud gaming industry with blockchain technology.
“It’s time for real value creation in the Web3 space. Portalverse Network will use the capital to accelerate the building of the ecosystem, bridging the gap between Web3 Metaverse contents and Web2 users”, said Kinson Hou, founder and CEO of Portalverse Network.
The vision has been shared by the investors.
